Robyn McCall laid down some ground rules with the CIA. She demanded to be treated like an equal. Not a subordinate. She wants respect going forward or else she wasn’t going to help them anymore. She wanted some consideration before they involved her in any of their shenanigans. Robyn used to work for them as an officer and that’s not what she is anymore. She was a freelancer. They come to her because they need her help. It’s time they started acting like it. Robyn told Colton Fisk she was going to ignore him if she didn’t get that respect. And funnily enough Colton didn’t need to give in on that front.

Soon, Robyn needed his help. Robyn and her friends were all followed and targeted. The men that they were after them had been carrying out syringes as well as guns. It doesn’t seem like these people or the person they’re working for wanted Robyn dead. They just wanted her captured. The same goes for her friends. They all regrouped at Harry’s cave and there they found Colton waiting for them. Colton heard about what happened to them. He went to them because he thinks he can help with their situation.

Colton had heard some chatter that a woman matching Robyn’s description was in trouble. He then dug into it until he found surveillance photos taken of Robyn and her people. He said someone was pulling strings to get them captured. He claims not to know who. Harry saw a certain car following them. He decided to track it down himself. The women didn’t want him to go alone and so Harry contacted Detective Dante. Dante was currently serving suspension. He was being investigated for pushing someone off the roof.

He didn’t do it, but he has to wait until an investigation was carried out. He was suspended without pay in the meantime. He also didn’t have access to his gun and so he and Harry said they were just going to look for the van. They looked for the van. They found it. They saw an insignia on it. They took a picture of it before sending it to Robyn. Robyn instantly recognized that symbol. She said it stood for some Venezuelan Freedom Fighters. The CIA wanted to take down a ruthless dictator down there. They helped arm and train these freedom fighters. And then suddenly they had a change of heart and in policy.

The United States no longer wished to take down the dictator. They pulled out of the country. They left thousands of Freedom Fighters to die undefended and so some of them wanted revenge. Only Robyn wasn’t the person they were mad at. Robyn was one of the few that hadn’t wanted to abandon those people. She lost her entire extraction team because of that change in policy. She heard about the deaths, torture, and manhunt for any and everyone that survived those first few days. Robyn understands why the Freedom Fighters are angry.

They only wanted her because they thought she could lead them to Colton. Colton wasn’t being entirely truthful earlier. He rarely tells the whole truth and so what he left out was that Robyn wasn’t the end goal. He was. He hid photos showing that the only reason people were looking for her or her friends was because they thought she could lead them to Colton. Colton was Bishop’s protégé. He could order people around back then. He was a part of the decision and so, when Robyn found out it was the Freedom Fighters, he knew right away who was behind all of this.

His name is Enrique Vargas. He was the leader of the Freedom Fighters back then and now. He lost his whole family to that ruthless dictator. He has a reason to be angry. They can all understand his reasoning. It was when he involved other people that it became a problem. Harry and Dante ran into some trouble by the van. They had to kill someone. Dante got injected with the serum and so they went to the man who made it. The man who made it had said it was a truth serum with an added cocktail that would kill someone after ninety minutes if untreated.

Dante got an antidote. Robyn also got a vial of the antidote for herself. They confronted Colton and that’s when Vargas’s people grabbed him. Robyn and Mel followed. They tried to rescue him and they got captured as well. Harry and Dante were also captured. Mel, Harry, and Dante were put in a room that was lit on fire. Robyn had to watch them from a tv screen. She could do nothing to stop it or save her friends. It seems Colton was grabbed because he has information that Vargas wanted and Robyn was grabbed for revenge.

One of the friends she thought died had lived through a bombing. She had to watch someone she care for die in a fire and now she wants that for Robyn. She blamed Robyn for abandoning her. She was full in league with the Freedom Fighters. And Robyn had no idea what was happening.

They had their own situation to deal with. Delilah and Vi helped put an end to a hostage situation, but now they couldn’t reach Robyn and they couldn’t even contact Dante to help.
